Randi Glazer, a deep-rooted North Shore Long Islander, has numerous years of experience in the underwriting arena. Entering school with a craving to study psychology, Glazer changed majors to Economics at the advice of her dad. As opposed to abandoning her enthusiasm for psychology, Randi discovered approaches to fuse it into her extra-circular activities such as becoming President of the Psychology Club at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo.
After moving on from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics, Glazer stumbled upon a career in underwriting. Not her fantasy work at the time, Randi has discovered routes, throughout the years, to make the work satisfying for her. With numerous years of experience, Glazer knows her ability to mentor and train others, in addition to her production underwriting, is genuinely having any kind of effect for the people and associations that she meets expectations with. Randi has trained dozens of people over the years on how to underwrite Property and Inland Marine coverages.
Conveying her skills to numerous bosses, Randi Glazer has learned distinctive systems and aptitudes along the way, continually endeavoring to make her expert aura decipher all over the globe. In her work with Wellington Underwriting, Inc., Randi Glazer helped create the International Property Underwriting Team empowering Wellington Underwriting to write direct overseas.
With a mission of augmenting Wellington’s expansion into Europe and Australia, the group pursued the high excess of loss market in addition to writing HPR (highly protected risks) type of accounts. The division’s composed premium totaled in abundance of $5 million in under three years.
